Our Statement on the Recent Election

We at Cultures of Consent have been struggling to come to terms with the election results. As an organization committed to inclusive, informed action against rape and sexual assault, the election of a professed sexual predator is frightening and disheartening.

We reject the narratives of hate, exclusion and misogyny, and are committed to redoubling our efforts to fight against the cultural normalization of sexual assault and to fight for creating cultures of consent, respect and positive sexuality.

For those who are afraid, we hear you, we stand with you, and here are some resources that may be helpful.

In solidarity,

Liz & Christine and the team at Cultures of Consent
